Reaction to Remember me

Ⅰ.  summary

The poem I choose to summarize and react to Remember me By Christina Rosetti. The type of this poem seems to be lyric poetry. Because it says "pray" and "grieve".
私が要約し反応しようと思った詩は"Christina Rosetti"の"Remember me"です。この詩は叙情詩だと思われます。なぜなら、この詩は「祈り」や「深い悲しみ」という言葉を使っているからです。

Ⅱ.  Reaction

 1. Imagery
The poem seems to encourage people who experienced hard to feel better. I think the poem shows　people feelings that they part each other.
この詩は辛い経験をした人を励ましているように思います。私はこの詩が別れた人の気持ちを表していると考えています。

2.　Character
The poem seems that the hero(heroine) describe his(her) friend who couldn't never meet him(her).
I think hero(heroine) wish his(her) friend always laugh and not grieve.
この詩は主人公が二度と会えない友達に語りかけているように思います。私は主人公が友達には深く悲しまないでいつも笑っていて欲しいと願っていると考えています。

3. Theme
I think the poem's theme is the sorrow of parting. Because 13 line says "Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember me sad."
私はこの詩のテーマは別れの悲しみだと思います。なぜなら、１３行目に私を思い出して悲しくよりは、忘れて、笑っていたほうが良いと述べているからです。


4. General opinion
While reading this poem I feel sad. But I'm encouraged this poem. I like this poem because my feeling is tender.
私はこの詩を読むと悲しくなります。でも、私はこの詩に励まされています。私はこの詩が好きです。なぜなら、気持ちが安らぐからです。
